Terms of Service

These terms explain what Car Bid Club does, what the $300 service fee covers and when it is charged, and what we each agree to when you sell a vehicle through the service.

Effective January 1, 2026

This document is a working draft pending legal review

The wording below describes how the service is intended to operate and is provided so the product can be reviewed end to end. It has not been approved by counsel and is not a binding agreement.

1. About Car Bid Club

Car Bid Club is a vehicle-selling service that coordinates inspection, dealership bidding, and closing on a consumer's behalf.

Car Bid Club is not a dealership and does not purchase vehicles.

The service is currently offered only for vehicles located in New Jersey and Florida.

2. What the service includes

Once you have enrolled and provided your vehicle's details, Car Bid Club will:

  • coordinate a UVeye vehicle inspection at a participating location near you
  • prepare a listing package describing your vehicle and its inspection results
  • present that package to participating dealerships in our network
  • manage the bidding process and identify the strongest qualified offer
  • present and explain that offer to you
  • coordinate documents, title transfer, payoff and closing if you accept

The service does not include reconditioning, repairs, or storage, and Car Bid Club does not purchase your vehicle.

3. No guarantee of an offer or a sale

The $300 fee does not guarantee a particular offer, sale price, or sale.

Dealership demand varies by vehicle, mileage, condition, location and market conditions. It is possible that no dealership submits a qualified offer for your vehicle. If that happens we will tell you directly and explain your options.

You are never obligated to accept an offer. Declining an offer does not create any further commitment, and because the $300 service fee is only charged when a sale completes, you owe nothing.

4. Service fee

The service fee is a one-time charge of $300. Nothing is payable during enrollment or at any point while your vehicle is being sold, and no payment card is collected.

The $300 service fee is charged only if your car sells, and it comes out of your sale proceeds. There is nothing to pay to get started.

The fee is earned only when a sale arranged through the service completes. It is collected by deduction from the sale proceeds before the remainder is released to you, and the amount is stated on the offer you accept. Where your loan payoff and the fee together exceed the sale price, the fee forms part of the amount you must settle in order for the sale to complete; that figure is disclosed to you before you accept.

If you do not accept an offer, if no qualified offer is presented, or if a sale does not complete for any other reason, no fee is payable and nothing is owed to Car Bid Club.

Some cars cannot be sold through this service — for example a leased vehicle, a branded or salvage title, or a car that does not run. If yours turns out to be one of them once you answer the ownership questions, we cannot present an offer. Because the fee is only charged on a completed sale, you will not have paid us anything.

5. Your responsibilities as the seller

By using the service you confirm that:

  • you are the registered owner of the vehicle, or you are authorised by every registered owner to sell it
  • the information you provide about the vehicle, its ownership, and any outstanding loan or lease is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
  • you will bring the vehicle to the scheduled inspection appointment, or reschedule it in accordance with the appointment policy
  • you will provide the documents needed to transfer ownership if you accept an offer
  • the vehicle is not subject to an undisclosed lien, legal claim or law-enforcement hold

Inaccurate or incomplete information can cause an offer to be revised or withdrawn.

6. Inspection appointments

An inspection appointment may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time at no additional charge. Later changes may require support assistance.

Appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Inspection locations are operated by UVeye or its partners; you are responsible for driving the vehicle to and from the appointment.

If you do not attend a scheduled appointment and do not reschedule, we will contact you before taking any further action on your order.

7. Offers

A presented offer remains valid for 72 hours unless the offer states otherwise.

A presented offer is based on the vehicle information and condition report available at the time it is made. If the vehicle's condition, mileage, ownership, or documentation differs materially at pickup, the buyer may revise or withdraw the offer.

The estimated amount you receive is calculated by subtracting any outstanding loan payoff, any deductions stated in the offer, and the $300 service fee from the gross offer amount. It is an estimate: the final figure depends on the payoff quote provided by your lender and the completed closing documents.

8. Closing, title and payment

Car Bid Club coordinates the title-transfer paperwork between the seller and the purchasing dealership. The seller remains responsible for providing a valid title, or for authorising the lienholder to release it, and for the accuracy of the information provided.

Vehicle transportation is arranged between the seller and the purchasing dealership. Car Bid Club coordinates scheduling but transportation costs are not included in the service fee unless the offer states otherwise.

Seller payment is typically initiated within 3 business days after the vehicle is collected and the required documents are complete. The $300 service fee and any outstanding vehicle loan are paid out of the sale proceeds before the remainder is released to you.

If your vehicle has an outstanding loan, the payoff is settled with your lender, and the $300 service fee is deducted, before any remaining proceeds are released to you.

If your loan payoff is greater than the sale price, there are no proceeds to deduct from. The difference, including the $300 service fee, is the amount you would need to settle in order to complete the sale. You are told this figure before you accept anything.

9. Cancelling your order

You may stop the process at any point before you accept an offer by contacting support. Declining an offer ends the sale process for that offer without any further obligation.

The $300 service fee is charged only if your car sells, and it comes out of your sale proceeds. There is nothing to pay to get started.

10. Electronic communications

By continuing you agree to receive service-related emails and text messages about your vehicle sale, and to receive required notices and documents electronically. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects an order that is already in progress, we will notify you using the contact details on your account and the terms in force when you paid will continue to apply to that order.
